Absorbent, non-adherent compress with barrier layer on both sides.

The barrier layer of the wound pad consists of a perforated PE film which, thanks to its perforation, makes the compress permeable to air and steam.

The cushion can be cut to shape if necessary while maintaining function. Both sides of the pad are equivalent. Intended use for light to moderately exuding wounds.
Sterile or highly clean packaged.

As a cover dressing for smaller wounds, suture lines, post-operative wound care where fixation with adhesion is not suitable due to fragile skin. As a secondary dressing.

Application:

When applying as a cover dressing, a suitable fixation option is used, in case of fragile skin, remember to wrap the pad tightly to avoid damaging the skin when removing the fixation. As a secondary dressing, the pad is fixed with a suitable fixing option.

Different fixing options are light adhesive tape on fragile skin, tube bandage, cohesive fixing bandage over joints. In case of healthy skin, a film fixing dressing may be suitable.
