About the course
A full-day format that gives participants deeper and broader practical skills in first aid and CPR with a defibrillator. We train more scenarios and build the confidence to act immediately until the ambulance takes over.
What you will learn
- Adult CPR: compressions, ventilations, correct depth/rate and safety
- Defibrillator (AED): when/how to connect, pad placement and following voice prompts
- Choking: back blows and abdominal thrusts — identify and relieve quickly
- Severe/life-threatening bleeding: direct pressure, dressings/pressure bandage and elevation
- Shock (circulatory failure): signs, causes and correct actions
- Burns: immediate cooling, burn depth, covering and when to seek care
- Electrical injuries: specific risks, observation and actions
- Epilepsy/seizures: make safe, time the seizure and aftercare
- Heart attack & stroke (FAST): recognise symptoms and act
- Head-to-toe assessment: a systematic injury survey
- Head, neck and musculoskeletal injuries: stabilisation and positioning
- Recovery position and a safe 112 call chain (incl. Sweden’s SMS Lifesaver)
After the course
- Provide life-saving first aid and perform CPR with an AED in a wider range of scenarios
- Act in a structured and confident way — even under stress
- Receive a digital certificate and a recommended refresher plan

Prerequisites & materials
No prior knowledge required. The instructor provides manikins, training AED:s and first aid materials.
