CPR and first aid skills need regular refreshers to be retained. This refresher updates technique, boosts confidence to act and ensures you follow current guidelines.

- Adult CPR: correct depth/rate, ventilations and safety
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED): quick and safe use
- Choking: back blows and abdominal thrusts – training in decision & action
- Life-threatening bleeding: direct pressure, dressings, elevation
- Scenario drills and teamwork – calling 112 and role distribution
- Common pitfalls and tips to improve quality
After the course
- Updated, safer CPR and first aid technique
- Stronger teamwork and clearer roles in real incidents
- Recommended refresher plan and digital certificate
Who it’s for
Organisations and individuals who completed a basic course and want to maintain skills annually (recommended interval 12–24 months).
Prerequisites & materials
A prior CPR/First aid basic course is recommended before the refresher. The instructor brings manikins, a training AED and first aid materials.
