HeartStart FRx - Package 3 includes a storage solution in the form of a hard case with a high IP rating for dirty or damp environments.

The waterproof case is made of hard plastic and shock and moisture rated according to IP67. The bag has inserts with space for extra electrodes and battery as well as a pocket mask, protective gloves, disinfecting wipes as well as clothes scissors, razor and compresses that facilitate the application of electrodes.

The HeartStart FRx is a robust and reliable defibrillator. Thanks to its ease of use, long battery life and the fact that it is practically maintenance-free, it is always ready to use when the need arises. Comprehensive automatic self-tests check the HeartStart FRx's vital functions daily, weekly and monthly to ensure that the HeartStart FRx is always ready for use. That the status indicator flashes green shows that everything is as it should be. The defibrillator starts beeping if the battery or electrodes need to be replaced or if the device requires any other service. It weighs little which makes it easy to carry with you, a total of only 1.6 kg including battery.

Child key for children/infants An important factor that distinguishes the HeartStart FRx from other defibrillators is the implementation of Child key. If you need to defibrillate a child or infant who is younger than eight years of age or weighs less than 25 kg, it is recommended that you use the Child and Infant Key (the Child Key is optional and purchased separately). When the Child and Infant Key is used in the FRx, the defibrillation energy is automatically reduced to 50 J and CPR guidance changes to Child and Infant recommendations. This unique feature makes the HeartStart FRx ideal for childcare, schools, swimming pools and other environments where children are present.
