Service agreement The vast majority of defibrillators today have so-called self-test functions that check hardware, software, electrodes and battery. Therefore, many defibrillators require very little or no maintenance. The defibrillator warns that something is wrong in the form of a recurring sound signal and when it is started, you are notified of what needs to be done. In the vast majority of cases, you need to change the electrodes or battery. The service agreement is therefore an additional service for those of you who think you need it. You can always sign a service agreement with us, regardless of where you bought the defibrillator. The support agreement is always included with us. Insurance on the defibrillator From May 2021, First Aid Sweden offers free all-risk insurance when buying, renting or leasing defibrillators for 12 months. |

Every year, thousands of people in Sweden suffer cardiac arrest outside of hospital. The majority of victims are affected at home or in public places where medical personnel or defibrillators are rarely on site. In cases where CPR was started within 1 minute and a defibrillator was used within 5 minutes, 49-75 percent survival has been reported. For every minute, the person's chance of survival decreases by about 10 percent. In Sweden, the time from alarm to defibrillator is 10-60 minutes, which means that there must be someone who can freeze the time until medical personnel are on site. Are you one of them?
